April 7th, 2008

I had a great time at The Quilt Show in La Veta, Colorado, last week. It was really impressive how they film the show and how informative it is. You can log on to The Quilt Show.com and see some of the exciting things Ricky and Alex are doing.

Have you visited our Back Yard? This is a new section of the shop that has $4.95 a yard fabric. No, I didn't make a typo. It is only $4.95 a yard. This is either sale fabric from our main floor, or closeouts from the fabric companies that I normally deal with. It is not cheap fabric, just discontinued fabric. So don't ask me if I can order more of it. I just wanted to pass the savings on to our customers. I am sure it will fluctuate in size according to what I can find in designs. But it will be a great place to look for backing material. And it this price, we will not stamp you stash cards.

We just got the entire line of Kansas Troubles Garden Inspiration. I even got the wovens this time. Check it out by the front door.

The Tea Room has a furnace and air conditioner now. Next, it will be time for rewiring and plumbing to start. I wish we could give you an idea as to when the opening day will be. All we can say is, it is moving forward, however slowly.

We will be doing our Stash for Cash Garage Sale again this Fall. The day will be Saturday, September 27. The specifics of this will be in our next newsletter.

There are still openings to take the Basket class in May. It could be one less Christmas present you have to buy if you make a basket for someone. And this basket is REALLY cute!

Take care!

Merrily
