Hi All!
We have just had a great two day class with longarm quilt teacher, Irena Bluhm. Irena was born in Poland, lived in Germany, and now lives in Oklahoma. Those of you who were lucky enough to wander into the shop last Saturday got to see her amazing quilts. Some of our local longarmers, Bill Fullerton, Dorie Hruska, and Deborah Post, took the class. Watch in the coming months for some remarkable quilting from these three.
I can't believe we are in our 7th year of operation. I want to thank all of you have started out being customers but are now valued friends for your support through the years. Just think, when it all started, I didn't even have any grandkids and now I have 4!
We just got RJR's fruit and vegetables fabrics in the shop. These fabrics make a great Turning Twenty for a nice Summer quilt top for your table. We also got a new line from Moda of Thirties fabrics. Windham sent a new 1800's collection. And to top it all off, I will be off to Houston Fall Market in just a little over a week.
On a sad personal note, my best doggy friend for 17 1/2 years left my side last week. He survived broken legs, cancer surgery, and food poisoning. But finally I felt he was enduring too much pain. I will miss him terribly.
Till next time.
Merrily
